Human remains found in May in Turtle Creek identified as 32-year-old man; family shares plea for answers

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause and manner of Justin Bianco’s death.

The family has set up a GoFundMe page to cover funeral expenses. “He was a good brother, a good uncle, amazing. He was a mama’s boy,” Angeline Bianco said. County police are awaiting the cause and manner of Justin Bianco’s death from the medical examiner’s office. They urge anyone with information to call 1-833-ALL-TIPS.

“We’ve been looking for a year and some months now, and now we get that phone call,” said Bianco’s sister, Angeline Bianco.

Angeline Bianco said her brother went missing in May 2021.

“Usually Justin comes home, usually Justin’s out the door,” said Bianco’s mother, Mary Winkle.

In May 2022, county police were called to an enclosed brushy area for a report of human remains found. It sits right next to the Wolvarena football stadium in Turtle Creek.

“How can you miss that? You cannot miss a person at a football stadium because you’ve got all those people,” said Bianco’s father, Ralph Bianco.

The family said they are left with questions.

“We don’t know how he died. We want to know why, and what happened. Did someone shoot him, or if someone killed him, that’s what we want to know. We did not want our brother to be gone,” Amanda Bianco said.
